GAIFF Pro & LUMIVERSE Present: An Exclusive AI Filmmaking Workshop

GAIFF Pro (the Industry Platform of the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival) and LUMIVERSE (formerly reArmenia Academy, the global collaboration platform for Armenians worldwide) invite professional film specialists to apply for an exclusive, hands-on workshop focused on mastering cutting-edge AI filmmaking workflows.
This intensive program connects technology and storytelling. Selected participants will work directly with AI industry experts Vahan Setoyan and Lilit Barseghyan, who will share their extensive experience and lead the group through the process of creating a film fully generated by AI.

Please Note: Space is strictly limited. Participants will be selected through a competitive application process.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

  • Dates: July 13–16, 2026 (Full attendance is required. Please keep your schedule flexible, as daily programming may vary).
  • Location: Yerevan, Armenia (Exact venue and times will be shared with selected participants).
  • Language: Conducted entirely in English.
  • Cost & Logistics: The workshop is free, and AI software access will be provided. However, the Golden Apricot International Film Festival does not cover travel or accommodation expenses. Please only apply if you are locally based or already planning to attend the festival.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

To maintain a high-level, collaborative environment, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Professional Background: Must be an established film specialist (Director, Producer, Editor, Cinematographer, Sound Designer, etc.) with a strong portfolio.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven knowledge of industry-standard editing platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Avid, etc.) and a strong command of film terminology.
  • Hardware Requirements: Participants MUST bring their own laptop capable of handling advanced browser workflows. Note: Entry-level machines might not be able to support the required software.
  • Regional Focus: Open to filmmakers from Armenia, Georgia, or Iran, and/or professionals currently based in the region.
  • Availability: Must be fully available in Yerevan between July 13–16, 2026.
Note: A limited number of candidates may be invited to a brief interview to verify specialised industry knowledge and film terminology.
