- Director of the applying project must be from the Western Asia region or its Diaspora
- The project must be the director’s first or second full-length film (fiction, documentary, animation, hybrid, expanded cinema)
- The total estimated budget of the film should not exceed 5 million Euros
- The application can be submitted by the director/producer from the region or co-producer from countries outside of Western Asia
- Lodging of the attending project representative (producer/co-producer or director) along with up to 300 EUR for travel expenses per project (in form of reimbursement), will be covered.

- Synopsis (max. 1 page)
- Director’s Statement (max. 1 page)
- Teaser/visual material related to the submitted project (if applicable): only links to view online are acceptable, please note we won’t download files. All works must have English subtitles added if applicable.
- Producer’s Statement (max. 1 page)
- Treatment (max. 7 pages)
- Motivation & Goals at GAIFF Pro (max. 2 paragraphs)
- Team Biographies (writer, director, producer, production company), including:
- photo
- biography
- filmography (main previous works including the title, year, short/feature, type (documentary, fiction, etc.) and role in the production)
- links to previous audiovisual works (for the Director)
- Budget Topsheet: total budget in EUR (max. 1 page)
- Financing Plan, including confirmed financing if any (max. 1 page)
- Additional Materials (if applicable, not exceeding 2 pages)
